Erin Garmezy•Lampworking Botanicals with Soft Glass and Borosilicate

August 31, 2026 @ 09:00 September 11, 2026 @ 17:00

Learn to sculpt botanical forms at the torch using both borosilicate and soft glass. We’ll cover core techniques for shaping leaves, flowers, vines, and other organic elements while exploring how each type of glass behaves.

We will learn where boro excels, where soft glass shines, and how to work with the strengths and limitations of each type of glass. By the end, students will know how to choose the right glass for any botanical project.
