Emel Erdem•From the Forms of Nature to Glass Sculptures

September 15 @ 09:00 September 26 @ 17:00

In this course, the ever-changing rhythms and inspiring textures of nature, elements such as plants, stones, water and soil will be processed by creating original designs. While participants will discover how organic forms and textures in nature are reflected on the glass surface and their relationship with light, they will also learn the basics of the lost wax technique and gain the ability to produce a work from start to finish by putting it into practice at every stage.

The two-week course will focus on the lost wax method, a multi-stage technique in glass sculpture making, and will include model making with clay and wax, working with rubber molds and turning this entire process into glass.

The cost includes accommodation in a 4-person room, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
