Mustafa Ağatekin•Hands-On Studies on Glass Embedded Ceramics

This workshop has been prepared to introduce and allow participants to experience the glass-embedded ceramics method uniquely developed by Prof. Mustafa Ağatekin. In fact, both ceramics and glass are art fields with technical requirements and limitations that demand technical knowledge, equipment, and experience. These necessities not only determine the conditions under which the two materials can be used together through a thermal process, but also directly affect the boundaries and outcomes of their interaction. Throughout the workshop, the artist will conduct a  program consisting of practical applications aimed at exploring the possibilities of using glass and ceramic materials together.
