This class offers students a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals and fine details of glass working. With and emphasis on traditional tecniques and modern artistry, Jaon guides students through each step of the glass creation process, frominitial design to finishing touches.

Jen Blazina•Pursuit of Light

Have you ever wanted to learn about mold making and kiln casting? In this exciting class we will explore materials, make a one-part mold, cast glass, and finishing work. Some topics covered through demonstrations will be: how to work with lost wax, how to make a one-part mold, experimentation with objects, and how to finish a cast glass piece. Learn all of the parts of the process from beginning to end! At the end of the course, each student will take home a wonderful one of a kind artwork. Handouts will also be given on all of the techniques covered and how to build your own kiln casting shop.
