Working with glass, an exciting and magical medium and a kind of enchantment that every time I sit down at the burner, will take place again. I hope that this joy and fun, which I feel at work, reflects in my beads, whether opaque, transparent, colorful… the possibilities are endless.

I enjoy teaching, specially intermediate and advanced classes because it's always a big challenge for me.

The most important issue in my classes is precision. We'll work on accurate shapes (round beads, lentils, disks…) and decorations. I'll show how to apply stringers easily and how to build intricate patterns. We will learn how to use a stringer like a pen or a paint brush and how to create whimsical patterns with dogs, sheep, butterflies, sandpipers, trouts and other fishes.

We'll spend one day on inspiration with tipps and tricks to create a personal style and to find new ideas.

Later we'll make murrines, feathers and eyes. We'll spend several days to make face beads : little pirates, faces with glasses, orchids and litttle faces peeking through the window.

The workshop fee includes, lunch and workshop materials specified by the tutor. Please click here for information about the campus, rules and regulations, accommodation options and transportation info.
