Figurative Expressions with Carmen Lozar

This week-long course will focus on creating the human figure at the flameworking torch. Using both borosilicate rod and tubing students will strengthen their technical abilities by learning how to add movement and gesture to their glass characters. Using our imagination and the fluidity of glass, we will explore crafting the torso, head, hands, feet as well as the full figure. Some experience is helpful.
