Colored glass rods are melted in a tabletop flame (torch) and then wrapped around either steel wires or other glass rods, transforming into entirely new shapes. Using this method, beads, figurines, and various objects are created. Our instructors work closely with the children, sometimes guiding their hands and sometimes observing closely, ensuring that they safely make their beads according to their age.

Bead Workshop Pandemic Rules:

• This activity will be conducted one-on-one with a single child.
• Both the child and the instructor will wear masks.
• Parents can observe the activity while maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.
• Hand sanitizer will be available in the workshop where the activity takes place.
• The workshop will be disinfected after each activity.
