Seyit Taha BAYDAR

1987 Was born in Eskisehir.

 2005 Graduated from Yunus Emre Anadolu Vocational High School, Otomation Dep.

2005-2009 Graduated from Anadolu Univercity, Fine Arts Glass Dep. Completed his internship at Pasabahce Denizli Glass Factory and Yakamoz Glass.

2009-2011 He worked at Yakamoz Glass as a designer and worked in a large scale.

2009 Started his master degree at Mimar Sinan Univercity, Fine Arts Ceramics and Glass Dep.

2010 He won a scholarship from the Glass Furnace Foundation.

2011-2015 He worked at Eskisehir Odunpazari City Hall Hot Shop as a glass artist. In the meantime, he had a chance to work alongside with world known glass masters like Martin Janecky, Jiri Suhajek, Daniel White, Paul de Somma, Pino Cherchi, Jason Christian, Rob Stern, Ed Van Dijk, Jeff Ballard… He played an active role in the design, setup, activation, direction, planning and controlling of the shop and also in organising demonstrations.

2012 He had a short term education in the glass school Abate Zanetti in Murano, Italy.

2015 He took part in the Glass Furnace Artist in Residence program with the Turkish glass artist Gulin Algul. He joined in several national and international exhibitions. He held his first personal exhibition in Ankara Gallery Soyut in the name of “Gibi” in 2015.

2018 He’s been working as an academic in Ondokuz Mayis Univercity, Fine Arts Ceramics and Glass Dep. He’s been teaching Ceramics Glass Design, Introduction to Ceramics Glass Design, Glass Sculpture, Glass Bead Making, Hot Fire Shaping, Glass Workshop Applications, Cold Glass Shaping, Graduation Projects, Hot Glass Blowing, Glass Fusion Techniques.
