Vladimir Klein was born in the year 1950 in Czechoslovakia. He studied in the Academy of Applied Arts in Prag under Prof. Libensky. For 14 years, he was teaching in a secondary glassmaking school in Kamenicky Senov and was the director of this school for 5 years. After being a visiting professor in Toyama Institute of Glass Art in Japan for 4 years, he was employed as a designer of Bohemia Crystalex Trading in the Czech Republic for 9 years. He recieved many awards with his glass sculptures and they are exhibited in many public collections over the word. He performed one man shows in Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands and Japan. He also took participation in many common glass exhibitions over the word.
