Monthly Borosilicate Teardrop Bottle Workshop Starting on February 6th  (Half-Day)

In this intensive workshop, where fundamental techniques of borosilicate glass blowing are demonstrated, the aim is to teach the creation of small transparent glass bottles, which are said to have been used by women in ancient times to collect the tears shed while waiting for their husbands to return from war. These bottles can also be used as perfume bottles.

In this workshop, which will last a total of 4 lessons once a week, you will experience the introduction to borosilicate glass blowing techniques. Under the guidance of the instructor, you will learn pulling rods, blowing spheres, and shaping the blown forms using borosilicate glass tubes. Then, step by step, you will learn neck pulling, bottle shaping, and mouth opening techniques, creating wonderful bottle figures.
