Monthly Full-Day Hot Glass Workshop: February 8-15-22-29

In this four-week workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience glass in all its stages. We have prepared a program that is both fun and educational, designed to help you unleash your creativity. Below is the detailed schedule:

Week 1:
– 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Workshop Introduction, Safety Rules, Use of Hand Tools, Taking Glass from the Furnace.
– 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
– 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Basic Shaping Techniques (Solid Glass & Round, 2-3 Bump Mass Production, and Paper Weight Exercise)

Week 2:
– 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Blowing exercises. (Geometric shapes)
– 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
– 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Blowing exercises. (Continuation of geometric form exercises)

Week 3:
– 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Adding glass to the blown form. (Handle and decoration)
– 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
– 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Continued practical exercises.

Week 4:
– 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Use of granular color.
– 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
– 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Continuing blowing exercises using color.

*The works created in this workshop will be sent later via mail.

*The monthly hot glass workshop lasts for 4 days.

*Only transparent glass will be used during the workshop, except for the design created during the workshop.
