Join us for a day of bead making, where you’ll explore the techniques of bead creation with a focus on forest fruits. Using flame working techniques, you’ll shape beads freely by hand and on mandrels, exercising control over the glass and creating unique fruit forms.
Starting with the basics of glass control and sphere formation, you’ll progress to wrapping glass on a mandrel and shaping it. You’ll learn techniques such as rod pulling, making twists, and dotting while experimenting with various forest fruit shapes.
