One-Day Beginner Level Hot Glass Workshop

In this workshop, you will experience something entirely new as you challenge gravity throughout the day with molten glass in your hands.

So, where will we start? In this workshop, you will first get to know the hot glass studio. Then, you will learn about safety rules, how to hold the blowpipe and pontil (ponti), workshop movements and exercises, how to take glass from the furnace, shaping the taken glass on the marver table, using the ladle, neck cutting, shears and tweezers usage, mass form exercises, creating round masses with solid glass, creating round masses with solid glass with 2 and 3 nodes, making paperweights containing color (flower and twist). After acquiring the knowledge and skills up to this point, you will move on to glass blowing. Once you have improved your mastery of glass, you will finish your work by blowing a sphere.
