One-Day Beginner Level Hot Glass Workshop: February 21 (Full Day)

Embark on a unique experience challenging gravity throughout the day with honey-like glass. Wondering where to start? In this workshop, you’ll first get to know the hot glass studio. Subsequently, you will explore safety rules, how to hold the blowpipe and noble (ponti), workshop movements and exercises, taking glass from the furnace, shaping the taken glass on the marver table, using ladles, neck cutting, using shears and tweezers, mass form exercises, creating a round mass with solid glass, creating round masses with 2 and 3 lobes with solid glass, making paperweights containing color (flower and twist). With the knowledge and skills acquired up to this stage, you will transition to glass blowing. After refining your control over glass, you’ll conclude the day by blowing a sphere.

**Note:** The works created in this workshop will go through the annealing process and will be sent to you later by mail.
