One-Day Beginner Level Hot Glass Workshop: February 21 (Half Day)

In this workshop, you will have a unique experience challenging gravity all day long with honey-like glass in your hands. The journey begins by introducing you to the hot glass studio. Following that, you’ll delve into safety rules, learning how to hold the blowpipe and noble (ponti), workshop movements and exercises, taking glass from the furnace, shaping the taken glass on the marver table, using ladles, neck cutting, using shears and tweezers, mass form exercises, creating a round mass with solid glass, creating round masses with 2 and 3 lobes with solid glass, and making paperweights containing color (flower and twist). With the knowledge and skills acquired up to this stage, you will progress to glass blowing. After enhancing your mastery of glass, you will conclude the workshop by blowing a sphere.

**Note:** The works created in this workshop will go through the annealing process and will be sent to you later by mail.
