Daily Glass Tasting Workshop December – 10th

An opportunity to discover which glass technique resonates with you, the Taster Glass Workshop offers one-hour experiences in hot glass blowing, fusion, and bead making. Afterward, you can decide which technique excites you the most and further develop your skills in that area.

The program is as follows:

• 11:00-12:00 Hot Glass Blowing Workshop:

• In this workshop, you will experience how different equipment and tools are used. Simultaneously, with the guidance of the instructor, you will shape your preferred form by blowing hot molten glass in your chosen colors.

*The works created in this workshop will be sent later by shipping, as they will undergo the annealing process.

• 12:00-13:00 Lunch Break

• 13:00-14:00 Fusing or Stained Glass Workshop:

• In the fusion workshop, you’ll place and create patterns with colored glass pieces on a flat transparent glass plate by drawing and cutting.

*The works created in this workshop will be sent later by shipping, as they will undergo the firing process.

• After receiving general information about stained glass, you will move on to practical application. You will experience how to use stained glass and tools on a template of your choice, guided by the instructor. You will create your pattern by drawing and cutting colored stained glass pieces onto the template you have prepared. Then, by applying foil wrapping and soldering, you will produce wonderful figures.

• 14:00-14:30 Tea and Rest Break

• 14:30-15:30 Bead Making Workshop:

• In this workshop, you will learn basic bead shaping techniques and create wonderful beads in the shapes of triangles, cubes, cylinders, and flat beads.
