One-Day Taster Workshop: 14 April

A fantastic opportunity to discover which glass technique suits you best! The Taster Glass Workshop offers a chance to experience one-hour sessions in hot glass blowing, open flame bead making, stained glass, or fusion. After the sessions, you can decide which technique excites you the most and further develop your skills in that area.

Program:

– 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Hot Glass Blowing Workshop
In this workshop, experience how different equipment and tools are used and, at the same time, shape the chosen form with molten glass, blowing under the guidance of the instructor.

*Works created in this workshop will be sent later via mail, as they undergo an annealing process.

– 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Tea-Coffee Break

– 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Bead Making Workshop
Learn basic bead shaping techniques in this workshop, creating triangular, cubic, cylindrical, and flat beads. Add dotting and line techniques to create various glass beads.

– 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break

– 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Fusion or Stained Glass Workshop
In the fusion workshop, place colored glass pieces on a clear glass plate, drawing and cutting them to create patterns. In the stained glass workshop, after a general introduction to stained glass, practice using stained glass and tools on a self-selected template under the guidance of the instructor.
